Hello All!
My apologies for asking a simple question, but I am new at this. I have a Win2k Pro machine, and I want to get Apache up and running. Mostly for learning and practice, and sometimes so I can have friends/family download files from me (also for fun).
Problem: Outsiders can not get to my pages inside apache. I installed the program, entered my IP address, and put the HTML files in the relevant folder, but nothing.
Now, my DSL provider blocks Port 80 for residential users, so I configure to 8080 (both in the config file, and users entered that on their machine), but still nothing. Am I missing something?
Thanks for any help,
Someguy
