Is this possible in a BCM? I can setup any other digit as a dest code, is 1 a system DN somewhere that can't be changed?

1 is probably part of your LD codes programmed in LD 90. Unless you set everything up to accept just the NPA you probably wont be able to use it.

The default for the digit 1 in a BCM is the Park prefix code. Try changing that to something else first.

We have our Dest codes start with 6 and a 3 digit Finance Dept code so they would look like

6123
6234
6345
6456
6678
6890

This way where only using the 6 and don't have to worry about conflicks.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Thanks all. Unfortunately, I have to make it as simple as possible so they wont let me do it the logical way. They also have extensions ranging from 1000 through 5999.

5000 DN's on a BCM? doesn't sound like they did anything the easy way or logical way.

Where do you change the park prefix code?

Not sure if you've found it yet, but on a 3.6 or 3.7 it is found here.

Hope it works for you.

Thanks. Access codes main screen was the spot.

If they have a DN of 1000 how do they have a Park Prefix of 1?

The 1000 range is on the CS1000 systems across the NRS. Each BCM has a range of 50 DID in the other numbers from 2-4
