can't find web server

Dear All
i been install personal web server, than i been create a hosts file with the contain of:
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1

http://www.abc.com

when i create a new file in microsoft interdev, it need to specify the web server name, so i key in the name above, but it can't work, it complain can't find the specify web server. and make me confuse is in the personal web server window, instead of show me the localhost or

http://www.abc.com,

it show me http\\:xyz as my host address???, what is the problem

Maybe you should have just one entry:
127.0.0.1 localhost

http://www.VBCompare.com

http://www.VBSortGen.com
