I'm trying to install a firewire card and DV capture software. I have Win98 SE, and Direct-X 8.0 with the DV update installed.

On reboot after card install, Windows keeps telling me to insert my Windows 98 disk, and then it asks for the following files:
KSCAPTUR.CAT
VFWWDM32.DLL
VFWWDM.DRV

Inserting the disk doesn't do any good. I have searched all directories on the disk, and my hard drive, and can't find them.

Can anyone tell me where they are?

kscaptur.cat is in the catalog3.cab file
vfwwdm32.dll is in the driver13.cab file
vfwwdm.drv is in the driver17.cab file

As a future use of the CD is almost inevitable, you might do well to copy all the *.cabs to a directory on your C drive named cabs. Then when it asks for the CD, point it at the directory.
Same thing with the drivers directory, if you have the hard disc space.
