CANT FIND SECOND SATA HD

Hi,

Currently I have 1 300 gig Sata HD with Vista installed- I just purchased another Seagate Barracuda 7200. 10 320 gig Sata HD. I installed it in the second SATA slot hooked up the power- and turned on the PC- Vista started to install software, said to reboot, I DID, and still cant find the HD- looked in my computer- device mgr- and disk mgmt. I am a newbee and thanks in advance for your help... by the way- I just want to use this second HD for storage.. thanks

Make sure the HD is recognized in BIOS.
If it's not recognized, then read FAQ 13 in the following link.
If it's recognized in BIOS, then read FAQ's 2 & 3.
