I have coded 'Dim db As Database ' statement
I get a Compile error 'Can't find project or library'

I don't really understand whats happening or a clue on how to fix the problem.

Note: I have used this statement in Access 97 but it now does'nt work in Access 2000.
I hope someone can help me.
Kind regards
Jon

boujay,
I think it sounds like your 'references' are out of sync.
In the module you have declared the 'As Database' statement go into design mode. On the tool bar at the top click on 'Tools' and you will see the 'References' option.

Dont quote me on this one but I think that the DAO 3.6 object library needs to be checked. If it's not that one you'll have to explore .
