Cant find outlook in "Send to"

I have several users that suddenly cant send a document to a mail recipiant from any Office application.
A pop-up box says "Can't find Exchange".
Otherwise Outlook sends and receives fine.
I have checked mapi32.dll in Windows and it is intact.
Also, does anyone know why mapi32.dll varies fron 128k up to 700k?
