cant find ./install-bindist.sh on apache download

I downloaded about four apache 1.386 installations, but when i unzip and untar the damn install, theres no install-bindist.sh

any good mirrors where i can get the right apache install with the ./install-bindist in it.

If theres another way to install let me know cuz im fairly new to apache and i dont know.

I'm not sure why that is.

I used the source distribution of 1.3.27, it was very easy to build... just the usual configure, make, make install.

Though, you probably want to build it with [tt]./configure --enable-module=so[/tt].
