Cant find drivers

I cant install Windows xp pro on my machine, it tells me that there are no HDD's. I know that i need to install the drivers. I have been trying to find the drivers for my maxtor SATA HDD's.(maxline plus II, m/n 7Y250MO) Maxtor doesnt have anything on their site that applies to the Maxline series. My install disc is WinXP Pro w/SP2.
My specs are:Asus A7v880, AMD3200, 2GB RAM, 2 250 HDD. My current setup is one 200GB seagate SATA hdd, and one maxtor (also SATA)as a backup. The 200 is failing, so i really need to slap a new OS on the other one. Please help!

Hola, the DRIVER in need are not related to the HDD in use...

what you need are the SATA driver for that MAINBOARD...
