SCO UNIX 5.04

I have a cron running every day about 3 am. I get this message when I check mail.
cronsched: No response from server. errno=2, t_errno=0

Based on the time the cron runs I 'asterisked' out a cron for user root in usr/spool/cron/crontabs. This didn't stop the error message. How do I find this cron?

When you 'asterisked' out the cron job, did you use crontab -e to edit the file or just use 'vi' ?

If you used vi, you would need to restart the cron daemon

If your on SCO you'd need to hash (#) out the job , not (*).

As trunix says, use crontab -e to edit cron in place. ***************************************
Party on, dudes!
