Hi, after I installed NSM 3.0 System and Peformance Agents on my Solaris 2.6 Server (I used the Patches CA tell me in their documents before install agents) and after the installation was done, with no error during the install process, I run awservices but it tells me awservices it's not found...

I don't understand why because I follow the same procedure I did with a Solaris 2.8 Workstation and everything works fine...

I appreciate any help from you...

First - check that the $AGENTWORKS_DIR variable is properly set. This should be your installation directory - eg /opt/aworks, or /opt/tnd/atech

If this isn't set then you will get an error and it will probably core dump.

Next - You should have a directory somewhere called CAlib. This might be in /usr/local/CAlib

In here there will lots of .so files with symbolic links to your agentworks directory.
Make sure that these are valid.
If you have had a previous version installed, or have had it installed in a different directory these may be wrong.

Next - if all that is OK (which it probably will be) run the install.aworks script from the installation directory (EG /opt/aworks) to reinstall the awservices executables.
