Can't export Illustrator AI or EPS files to Photoshop 1

I've recently installed OS Tiger and now can't export Illustrator files to photoshop CS. I've tried Illustrator 10.3 and that does't work either. I've reinstalled both photoshop and illustrator without success. The messages I'm getting are PHOTOSHOP - Could not import the clipboard because the specific format is not in the edition, ILLUSTRATOR - Acrobat PDF file format is having difficulties. There was a Mac system error (-37). Any ideas??

Did you try trashing the prefs for both AI and PS? If not try that. They're in user/preferences and start with "com" like "com.adobe illustrator."

If that doesn't work try goint back to prefs and trashing everything to do with these apps. Then trash the application folder for each and reinstall.
