can't execute sql command from within jdeveloper

Please Help:

My EAR app works great when I run oc4j in a dos window. But when I run oc4j inside jdeveloper I get this error:
"java.sql.SQLException: Could not execute sql command - Original message: oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CPreparedStatement.executeUpdate()"

Does this mean I need to associate an oracle driver with jdeveloper? If so, where/how?

Check which version of JDBC are you using inside JDeveloper under the project libraries as well as the embedded OC4J settings (under tools).
