can't execute rexec

Hi to all,

i'm trying to connect to a Unix machine using an account created by our administrator. when attempting to logon using a third party utility and remote execute a command in unix an error is beng returned to me "login is incorrect".

But when this account is being used in a telnet and FTP session it works.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

you'll probably have to enable a rhosts file if you're doing remote stuff, or change your connection at the '3rd party software' end.
