Cant empty deleted items folder in OWA

I have just upgraded to exchange 2000. Everything is working great except for the OWA piece. I can log in and view email just fine but when i try to empty the deleted items folder I get "An error occured while trying to empty the deleted items folder." Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks
