I have a question, ON windows98 I can add a line of code to
clean up my temporary internet files, recent, temp on the
autoexecute.bat file. And now when I try to add a code to the autoexecute.bat file on Windows Millenium, after
I reboot the machine, it erases my code. Basically, I cant
write anything to the autoexecute.bat file. It will just
restore it back to normal. How can I edit the autoexecute.bat
file so it wont restore it?

Been a while since I had to do this one...had to actually go look at my ME box for the first time in weeks :)

Bring up the System Information panel. Use the System Configuration utility. Click the Environment tab. Make your changes there. it'll prompt you to reboot afterwards (how irritating).

That should take care of your question.
