Can't drop publication error 20610 - replication

hi, can anyone help with this issue I'm having? I can't seem to delete 2 publications for replication. The error says
"cannot run sp_droppublication (for the last transactional publication) when the log reader agent is replicating the database.......... error 20610"

Has anyone seen this issue before? How do you get rid of these darn publications?
