Hi GUys,
Hope I'm in the right forum. I'm using and SGS 5600 version 3. By default (and I can turn off this option), the firewall doesn't allow you to resume partial downloads.
This means I had to write a rule to specifically allow traffic out to live.update.symantec (a subnet entity) to allow partial downloads.
I've tried the same thing with microsoft live updates by using domain entities listed here
I know the issue is that the firewall is using the default http rule "c" instead of the rule I created for any traffic to the windows update servers. But what I can't figure is how to force the firewall to use the rule I've created.
The other alternative is to allow partial downloads for all traffic. But I'd like to avoid this.
Does anyone have any advice ?
