I'm demoing the Mitel Global DECT solution and have got one access point (IPBS2) up and running with a 5603 and 5607 connected to it. The access point is connected to our vMCD (5.0) and I can call from my desk phone to either wireless phone but if I try to call from the wireless phones to my desk phone or to the other DECT phone, or outbound PSTN calls I just get a reorder tone and the display on the set says "Hung Up". I've tried both DTMF options (in band dtmf over rtp) and it doesn't make a difference. Seems like I"m probably missing something simple but not sure what.

Only ever used the 5610 setup for DECT and that has interconnect restrictions in the base that have to be set correctly, maybe a similar issue?

The fact that you can call from a Dect set to an other Dect set doesn't mean your setup is finished or correct. What did you use to do the setup/configuration?

Possibly the cos of the dect extensions ?

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
