I have a BCM in San Antonio, TX. that can't dial any areacode starting with 9-1-2 as in 9-1-214-213xxxx and another one 9-1-281-300-xxxx. It say invalid number when I dial 9-1-2 and thats as far as I get.

check you public dialing tables and see if there is the digit 9 with the dn length of 3.If so remove this and you should find it fixes the problem.

Do you mean public dialing plan under General settings?

I can dial 9-214-213-1234 but I get phone company recording number not in service.

but I can't dial 9 1-214-213-1234 because as soon as I dial 9-1-2 I get invalid number from the BCM.

214-213-1234 is a working number.

So something in the BCM is messing me up.

First thing I'd check is destination codes - if you're doing 91A, make sure that 2 is assigned in the wildcards. If you're doing multiple destination codes such as 911, 912, 913, etc, make sure that destination code 912 is pointing to the correct public route for the line pool you're dialing out on.

have you got a 911 in public numbers? If not check your call routing as biv has stated. Have you set up 911 without having to 9 for outside line?

It is in the Destination codes. Check biv343's suggestion - that is most likely your cause.
A lot of times people ad 911 to their destination codes and neglect to add 91A (or 912, 913, 914, 915, 916, 917, 918, 919)

91A is much easier and cleaner

I've been on Vacation, I added 912A and all is good.
