Can't Dial 742 prefix

all - i can't seem to dial the 742 prefix. i have no restricitions in the system, no fancy routes/access codes... everything default. in my installer guide it shows
DN type Systems upgraded
to 7.0
New 7.0 system
ISDN 667-696 699-728
Portable 637-666 669-698
Hunt group 707-736 739-768

does this have anything to do with it?

What happens when you dial 742? Do you get a busy, or a tone, or a display saying something? How are you dialing it? With a 1, with a 9, or straight out? Help us help you.

That voice prompt is coming from Telco, it's not the MICS.

Definitely a CO issue. To verify, you can get on a butt set at the demarc, and try dialing from there. That way they can't argue that it's a KSU issue.

I have the same issue with prefix 742 in the Crossville area, what area are you in? It looks like Charter hasn't released this to Frontier yet.
