Can't diable Voice MAil 2

Hello, I am having a huge issue with my Avaya phone system...I can press Feature 00 then intercom twice to get into programming mode but after that I am not sure what 3 digit code I need to use so that when we receive a call it does not go straight to voice mail....can anyone please help?

For example if someone tries to call us, we will hear half a ring and then it goes straight to voice mail..it does not give us enough time to pick up the call...we would like for it to ring at least 4 times before voice mail kicks in...:-(

You are programming a Partner ACS not an IP Office which is where you are posting this message. Try #504, #505, #506 to set up the ring delay or mode of the voice mail relationship with the Partner System. That should get you there

An easier softer way is to disable the lines under #206, Group 7. This will remove the lines from going to voice mail all together!

Abbreviated ringing is only active when the telephone is in the offhook condition. Idle phones should continue to ring until the VM AA answers the call or a user answers the call. Delayed ringing may be an issue however, so try looking at that!

Follow Zeus, he's got it. Change the answer delay on the lines being answered by the AA. First make sure your line on the telephones are not set up for Delayed Ring.

and I am not sure what to hit next to disable voicemail can you please tell me? I am not a programmer thats why I am having trouble understanding it :-( I just want the phone to ring 5 or 6 times before it goes to voice mail, if that is too complex that i rather disable voice mail all together, but as of now we cannot get calls because it rings for half a second and it ges to voice mail that we do not even know how to listen/check
