I removed a printer that I had installed on our Irix print server using "Printer Manager" from the toolchest. It looked as though it removed it. Now the actual server doesn't see it anymore, in other words if I bring up "Printer Manager" the printer that was called "sunlab" is no longer their. However if I goto a client and choose to add a printer and then tell it to "List the printers on a remote server", the printer "sunlab" gets listed! I then logged back directly onto the server and brought up "System Manager" from the "Toolchest" and chose "Networking and Connectivity" then chose "Host Manager" from there I double-clicked the server and it brought up a screen called "Find Remote Resources" in that listing it shows Directories, Media, and Printers, now "sunlab" is listed! HOWEVER it then tells me that I should use "Shared Resources" in the "Desktop" menu of the "Toolchest" to manage these shared resources. So I open up "Shared Resources", "On this Workstation" and it DOESN'T show me "sunlab" as being a printer that is installed. Does anyone know where the printer information for shared resources is stored? I've looked through EVERY file under /var/spool/lp and still can't find anything. I have been working on this problem for over a month now, if anyone has any ideas, I would be extremely grateful. Thank you.
