Can't delete Folder

Hi,

I have a folder that I created on my desktop. I've deleted it several times and emptied the recycle bin but every time I restart my PC it reappears.

I know it's something simple but I can't get it to go away.

How did you create this folder, was it via the "New Folder" context menu option, or some third party software?

Does this folder reappear if you start in Safe Mode after a successful deletion?

Is there any entry in the All Users folder for Desktop that could be storing the New Folder?

I saw this once where the user had designated the folder as a storage place for his instant messaging program (AIM in this case).
