I have a very strange issue with IIS 6. I have a folder that I cannot delete files from using FTP. I can upload a file to that folder and then delete it, but if someone else puts files there, I cant.
I have checked the FTP permissions and Read and Write is turned on. NTFS permissions indicate full control for the user. If I check effective permissions for NTFS it still shows full control for the user. But if I try to delete the file, it says "Access is Denied".
If I make this FTP user the owner of the files, they still can't delete them.
The one part that seems weird is if I use "ls -l" to see the file permissions while in FTP in DOS, it says I dont have write permissions even though I am the owner.
Any ideas?
