Hi all,

It all started when I copied some "Read Only" MP3 files from a CD to my MP3 Player.
Once the files were in the mentioned destination, the "Read Only" box became greyed out and unusable. But it was checked.
If I were to copy them to my PC (desktop) then the "Read Only" box would be usable. I think the "Read Only" box would no longer be checked though.

I have already ran Win Exp as an Admin, without avail.

What else can I do?

Thanks guys,

JDL

You can Format Disk in your MP3 player.

I had the same problem and I thought Format Disk will destroy my player. But no - it will only get rid of all your music files, but all needed 'stuff' to run your player will be untouched.

Then I had to re-load the music.

Have fun.
