Can't delete email's in Outlook XP

Hey everyone
I was wondering if anyone can help me. I'm having a problem opening/deleting emails. When I click on the mail to open, I receive an error: 'Can't open item', and when I try delete I get error: 'Can't delete item'. This is only email from a certain mailing list and not all email I receive.

My Outlook connects to an Exchange server on a desktop through Citrix Pulished App if that helps.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Does the incoming mail have an attachment icon with it? joegz

No it hasn't...I have managed to delete it from a local profile's OST working offline, and I guess it synchronized back to the mailbox, cuase it seems to be gone.

But it will be interesting to find out why it didn't want to delete out of the mailbox initially.
