One one of the user profiles there is a temp file in the 'Recent' folder which cannot be deleted. It says there is a sharing violation. Ive tried deleting the whole folder, tried renaming it, changing permissions etc but with no luck. The user isnt logged on anywhere else. Anyone got any ideas?

rimmy,
either some process is still using or the system still thinks it's in use. reboot and you should be able to get rid of it.
regards,
longhair

I beleive there is a utility in the admin pack that can unlock any open access to the file... OPENFILES

There's another utility OH.EXE that will tell you what's got the file open, but you must enable a kernel option and reboot before this util works.
