I was attempting to download a demo of Adobe premiere using flashget and for some reason the download started then immediately failed or finished. I have been left with a file on my computer with an exe extention (Flashget uses.jc untill the download finishes) but it is only 4.35KB and refuses to be deleted. Any attempt to delete or rename it results in an error that the file is in use. I've scanned for viruses and other unwantables but everything is nice and clean. So how do I get rid of the file?

Thanks in advance.

Bogboy,

You can try to delete it in safe mode. If that doesn't work, disable FlashGet from starting automatically (since this is the program most likely holding the file hostage), reboot and then delete it.

Hope this helps...
