Can't Cut & Paste 1

Suddenly, my clients are unable to cut & paste between the desktop and Metaframe session. I checked the client mapping overrides, and Client Clipboard Mapping was NOT checked. Does anyone know if there is another place where this setting could have gotten changed? this is happening for all clients over both LAN & WAN connections. (Environment: MetaFrame 1.8 for W2K Server, Service pack 3, Latest version of client software.)

I searched the Citrix Forums on the product site and it would appear this is common running the configuration you are on. I was unable to find a solution, but the resolve some have stated works is to roll back to SP 2.

I have been looking a the same threads, including one written by a disgruntled administrator who said he had solved the problem himself since Citrix never responded to his post. Anybody know a guy by the name of Barry T. Krechco? If you do, send him my way.

Funny, I have had SP3 for months, and this only now started happening. I'll keep digging, and make sure I share the solution if I find it ;-)

Have you checked to see if wfshell.exe is running? I had a problem where it wasn't starting and this was the reason. I checked all the options for mapping and changing them made no difference.

I don't remember exactly, but I know that under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\winlogon there had to be a userinit value to start wfshell.exe right before ctxlogon.exe.

Anyway, it is something else for you check maybe!
