So, when setting up a new user/copied user, I can't get Exchange to create a new mailbox, even if I try to tell it to do so.
I think I've traced my problem to permissions settings. Even when I copy a user (as opposed to setting up a new user), it won't copy the permissions with it. So, when the "new" user shows up, the only permission shown is "Self". All of the other current users have all the required (and apparently inherited) permissions. I can't get any "new" users to inherit permissions.
Am I correct in thinking that, because the permissions aren't being copied, then the associated mailbox isn't being created? If so, how do I get Exchange to allow a copied user to inherit permissions? Or is there another reason why Exchange is refusing to create a new mailbox?
Thanks in advance for any help.
