Can't copy to Windows clipboard from Notes

I have an intermittent problem with just one user who frequently copies text from emails to our Helpdesk app. This normally works for days with no problems, then occasionally notes will not copy anything to the clipboard, but retain the last successful copy. Copying and pasting continues to work between all other applications but only a reload of Notes seems to alleviate the problem. No errors are displayed at any time.
Any suggestions would be appreciated if only to help troubleshoot the problem.

Have you tried using Control-C to copy and Control-V to paste? I have to do that when pasting from Notes R5 into our Remedy system - the right-click copy/paste options don't work for that particular transfer.

Thanks, but yes, I've tried every way I know of copying and pasting.
