Ok, I've never actually encountered this problem. I absolutly cannot connect to my ISP without having my cordless turned on, I usually have it right next to my tower so I don't know if it would work with the reciver away from the pc. I have checked every setting I can think of but I still can't seem to solve this annoying problem. I even updated the drivers on my modem, with no luck (although it does help performance :).

Could someone Please help me out? I am getting sick of my battery always being dead because I want to get online. And I'm sick of getting disconnected every time someone coughs, sneezes, speaks... you get the idea. If you don't try dialing up and talking into your phone reciver.

Do you have a splitter at the wall that runs to your phone and to your computer? How is the phone related to the wiring of your computer's modem line?
