cant connect using ipo manager with 2012 r2 server

cant connect using ipo manager with 2012 r2 server??

they just removed all local servers at a site and went to all hosted VM's in cloud.. so I added the ipo software to the new 2012 r2 server and it fails when trying to connect thru manager?? system status and monitor both work..

it see's the system, asks for my login and password, then fails, is there something special about 2012 that might be blocking it? this is my first time using this release. we were connecting using a 2003 server that was onsite.


BTW, the ipo is a release 7 with 500 v2 if that matters.

Ip Office manager allowed to send and receive?

checked port, it was open.
very strange twist-- I can log into system using the Manager login, but Administrator login dosnt??? but I know the Administrator login works. because I had them turn on the old pc that was our original way in, and it works from that machine..

Have you tried to right click on the manager icon and run as Administrator..?
