I can't connect to LAN.i must use DHCP, but jave no contact with network= ip 169.x.x.x
my settings work in office, but not at home using the same network. socket is ok. i have win98.perhaps something with protocol.ini or ethernet frame?
thanx

If your machine works in the office but not at home, then your machine should be fine. The problem sounds like it is with your home network. Make sure that you have DHCP running at home and also check your cables and your link lights.

I have a few questions:

1) How do you connect to the internet at home? (dialup, cable modem ,DSL, etc)

2) Who is your ISP at home?

3) Is the hardware setup the same at home? (router, cable modem, hub, etc.)

4) Have you ever been able to connect at home?
