Cant change scanner programm

Hi: I have a PSC scanner (VS1000 model) and need to change the settings, i use the manual and cant change anything, what can do?

the problem that i have is that when i scan the EAN13 code 7790250054382 the scanner scans 12779025005438

I need help with this!!

Have you tried to scan the "default" setting in the manual?
The default should reset the scanner to scan all of the standard barcodes.
