Can't change print queue characteristics?

Got a new printer and thought I might as well recreate the queue to make sure it worked. Well I can create the queue and things do print, but not correctly formatted. And I can't get into the characteristics, it just gives me an error. 1800-106 An error occurred: then some gibberish, but I can only hit enter or cancel. So I can't fix the formatting. Any ideas? Thanks

Can you give more detail? What's not right? What version of AIX?
