Hello, odd problem. Working on a DL380 G4 and for some reason I cannot change the dhcp enabled to some static ip, when I set it, it will look like it takes, it will even prompt me for a restart, after a restart (or not) no ip is set, it is back to dhcp enabled, and with an ipconfig I just get the generic "Windows 2003 ip configuration" response, with nothing not even a "media disconnected". Any ideas?!

Cant change my NIC ip

As a sidenote, it is the broadcomm 7782 gigabit nics that I am dealing with... Its also driving me nuts, so any response is GREATLY appreciated.
ps also checked if any local settings had been setup as I was unsure if some kind of policy could prohibit this but alas this was not the case.
