Can't change from points to pixels 1

Hi

A colleague of mine is using photoshop (version 7) and all the text tools have converted to points but cannot be changed back to pixels no matter what she does. Is this a known bug?

Have you tried the old standby of resetting your preferences?

Start PS then immediately hit CTRL + Alt + Shift.
If PS loads you will need to exit out and try again.

You most likely will have to try this a few times as you only have a few seconds to hit the Ctrl Alt Shift keys.

Answer the question to delete the preferences file YES

PS will rebuild the pref file to be as it was on delivery.

Take a look at Photoshop Preferences/Units & Rulers. Is "Type" set to points? If so, and you want something else, select that.

If that doesn't work, the prefs are messed up.
