Can't change color back....

I changed my display colors to 256 colors to play a game. Being that my monitor is pretty old, apparently it cannot process all of the colors. So the screen just went to streaming colors. I restarted in safe mode and was able to change the colors back to 16 colors. Once I rebooted again, in the normal mode, the option for 24 colors had mysteriously disapeared. I don't know how to get back to the 24 colors and would really love it if someone could offer some ideas! Thank you!

Did you try to Reinstall the MonitorDriver ?

Have you rebooted in normal mode? Sometimes, that's all that's required. Have the installation CD in hand.<br>
