Crystal Reports 2008.
I have seen this behavior now at 3 different clients. What happens is that one or several reports lose the cancel button on the parameter screen. When this happens the corner "x" for closing the window is also disabled and the escape key won't close the window either. In other words, once you get to the parameter window your only choice is to run the report. I have never had this happen to my own reports.
But today a customer sent me two very similar reports. The parameters were the same and the settings within the parameters looked identical to me. Both reports were based on SQL Commands (although different commands) and the parameters were within the commands. Even on my system one had this problem and the other didn't.
I received another report last week from a different customer. This report reads 4 tables and has the same problem.
Has anyone else noticed this? I have checked every setting I can think of and can't find anything that is different.
