Cant Browse Web when connected to VPN

Hello,

I'm running Windows Server 2003 Basic PPTP VPN. When I connect to the VPN, my client machine can not browse the web. The MS VPN Client is set to "use deault gateway on remote network". Firewall is set to allow this traffic out. We had this working on a previous install of this setup (which we had to down because of hardware changes).

Has anyone else seen this? Any ideas what may be wrong?

You need to specify the connection setting for IE on your client machine. From IE enter Tools > Internet Options > Connections. Here you get a list of VPN and dial-up connections and you can specify particular settings for each.

If you are using something other than IE (e.g. FireFox) you can set up a proxy.pac file in stead that will take care of the settings for you.
