Cant browse but messenger can connect 1

My ie can not browse through the internet but windows explorer can. When install Netscape 7.1... it can not connect to the internet... yahoo messenger can...

I dont have any firewall installed...

Please help!!!

Using another computer that has an internet connection, obtain the following programs and use them on the affected PC:

AdAware SE 1.05 Personal

http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/IEFIX.htm

Each of these programs is designed to detect and repair some common issues which affect internet access or Internet Explorer web browser functions. Individually, each program has it's own set of targets which may or may not help you resolve your current problem. Together, these four programs should help you restore your normal internet operation.

However, it is always a good idea to make sure that you have a system backup prior to using ANY utility program which may make changes to your system.
