Origionally I had 2 partitions win98 & win2k. I created an extra partition using pqmagic under win98 for admin purposes. I tried booting and I get the message 'invalid boot.ini, win2k couldn't start because following file is missing or corrup. <windows 2000 root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe. re-install a copy of the above file'.
Any way I can get win98 to be the default os to boot instead of w2k.

Thanks

Boot with a windows startup floppy disk and run fdisk. You need to make the Windows 98 partition the active partition and then Windows 98 should boot.
