Dear Experts,

I am using VBA with access 2000. On one of the forms a user enters data into several textboxes. All of textboxes except one saves the user definined data into the database. The datasource property is filled in with a simple selection of the field I want (ie its not user defined). I think the problem could lie in the fact that the form i am using has a subform. I didnt write this program and am pretty new to VBA and I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions as to why a simple textbox wont bind to the database.

many thanks
TZ

Hallo, one possability can be that the Textbox is not linked with a field in a Table. If this is so, no information will be saved. It is a type of temporary field.
Information can be written or added to the Textbox but it has no where to save the Data.
Look there first.

Have a nice day
Mark
