Greetings,
A few years ago I removed a ton of Centrx lines out of a Legend Rls.7 and replaced them with a ISDN PRI. I had some help from this list...thanks to all of you. Over the years, I've been assigning DID's as needed with no issues. My range, 5300 to 5380, has been successfully assigned with the exception of 5304. Anytime I try and assign it I receive error tone. At the time of the PRI install I did a complete renumber and have had no issues with anything in the number plan. This number did live on a 408 card, but so did a ton of other lines. I've checked adjuncts and every port/id, but I'm not sure where to look to find where it still lives in software. Could any of you Guru's help this Nortel guy please? Thanks in advance.

I'm assuming you mean extension 5304. what happens if you dial 5304 ?

The plot thickens...SPM hasn't worked in about 3 years. The audix terminal says it can't connect, I think, it has been a while. All my admin is done via the console. Can I serial connect to the switch and get it that way? Sorry, but I'm not that familiar with this little guy! :(

So its an intuity audix an a legend running spm. Yes that can be troublesome sometimes.

Do you have a laptop with a serial port?

When in system renumber you can renumber one extension.
You are given a list of things that you can renumber like extensions and adjuncts and groups.
Start there and try to renumber 5304 starting at the top left choice.
You will know you have found the right one when it asks you to enter in the new number.

1043, Sorry I didn't mention the Intuity. Yes I do have a laptop with a serial port. I'm assuming I can hyper terminal in? CarGoSki, I will try your solution. Thanks to both of you for your help. You're awesome.

you can go to the avaya website and download WSPM, I think release 5 is the program (even though it states upgrade) and you can perform upgrades on it all the way to R9.

I would do that 1st. You will also need the 355A or 355AF serial adapter. You can probably take the one off the Intuity Audix CPU.
