hi,
the error as follows:
<Microsoft Access can't append all the records in the append query>

<Microsoft access set 0 field(s) to Null due to a type conversion failure , and it didn't add 0 record(s) to the table due to key violations, 0 record(s) due to lock violations, and 1 record(s) due to violation rule violations>

help me to solve problem please>>

That should read 'due to validation rule violations. What validation rules have you got within the table your trying to append to? 1 of your records is failing against whatever rules you`ve placed into the table.

Try looking at the "Allow Zero Length" property of all each field in the table. Its set to "No" by default. Change that to "Yes" one field at a time to see what about that record is causing the violaton. I remember this was a big problem for me a while ago.

In addition rbowes comment: also it's not possible to update field with have primary key to null value.
