cant add sip trunk to system?

I have ip 500 v2 with 2 combo cards and 20 sip trunk lic's. software 7.0

I added a sip trunk to system in manager, rebooted box. logged into system status.....nothing shows??

I have 4 pri, 20 pots line and 2 h323 trunks for SCN that are already in there. just as a test 1 added a 3rd h323 and it showed up, I added a 2nd sip trunk, nothing? now I have 2 sip trunks in manager, but cant see them in system status...


any ideas would be appreciated, their PRI's are down and I am trying to setup the sip trunks to for backup.
 
update:

I added sip trunk to 1 of the sites that it is SNC'd to. and it let me... I don't have any lic's for that system, so I cant test. but it shows up in system status.
 
Did you simply add SIP trunks but not add a URI(s)?

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
 
yes, I have many systems with sip trunks, what Im saying is I add the sip trunk in manager, merge/reboot. open system status, and its not there listed with the other trunks? to see if its registered or the channels are in svc..

you can see it in manager, when you open that back up..
