Can't add .qry file to a new report

My .qry file runs well in SQL Designer, but I can't add it to any reports, even brand new standard reports. I am using subordinary sentence in the .qry file, do you think this will cause the problem?

When you say you can't 'add' it, are you saying that you can't use it as the source of a brand new report at all? What happens if you try? What if you save it with/without data? Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting
