I am new on ASP.NET and following a book prcticing on .NET stuff. I had problem with data connection. I couldn't add new views through 'Data connection' in 'Server Explorer'. Can anybody tell me what's wrong with my configuration? Thanks a lot!

I were following a book '.NET E-commerce Programming'. It showes how to use 'Data Connection' in the 'Server Explorer' to add new database views. It says if you right click the view node, you can have a choice to "Add New View". But I only have two choices in the right click menu: 'Refresh' and 'Properties'. I tried send a email to author. He replied that I probably didn't have the authority to create the view. The fact is I connect to database through 'sa' should have all the tights to manipulate the database. The only difference between author's and my environment is that the author were using VB.NET Enterprise For Archtect version and I am using professional version.

This is new to me. The only thing I am really familiar with re: connection are "connection strings", either for SQL or OLE DB. I'm not sure what view you are talking about. Let me do a little research and get back with you.
